After undergoing a second interview with the Falcons on Wednesday, former Titans head coach Mike Vrabel is reportedly set to meet with another NFC South team. According to ESPN’s Jeff Darlington, Vrabel is scheduled to fly from Atlanta to Charlotte on Thursday for an interview with the Panthers regarding their head coaching vacancy. This comes as part of Vrabel’s broader coaching search, which has also included interviews with the Chargers.
The Panthers, who dismissed Frank Reich during the season, are conducting second interviews with Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris and Buccaneers offensive coordinator Dave Canales on Wednesday. Additionally, there are plans for a second interview with their current defensive coordinator, Ejiro Evero.
Having initially interviewed 11 candidates, Carolina has made significant progress in their coaching search, appointing Dan Morgan as their new General Manager. This recent front-office addition is expected to play a crucial role in the final stages of the coaching selection process.
